I've gotten significantly faster at vectoring and I've become a lot better than when I first started! I always hated Twilight in Season 1 but Season 2 has made her such a bad-ass. This vector took no time at all and I love how it turned out! The eyes were a blast and I'm really loving her simple hair
Please leave comments and critiques! I want to know what you guys like and what I need to improve on!
You did a bang-up job with her; very very close to the model! Her smile and expression are perky and lively: I feel like she's very interested in (and happy with) whatever is engaging her off-screen. The colors and lines of her mane and tail are particularly good.
There are so many good things that I had a little trouble spotting room for improvement, but I studied her for a while and came up with a few basic changes that would spruce her right up to top form.
• The line of her belly should go behind her right hind leg, rather than in front of it. • The outline on her tail seems extra-thick. • The gradient in her eyes is too dark and ends up blending with her pupils. • Also on the subject of her eyes, they seem to be missing the two tiny wedges of lighter color that are usually present in our precious ponies. -
You've done a much better job than I could do; I'm barely able to sketch over the course of several hours. That you could do this in an hour is super-impressive to me. Keep up your awesome work, fix those little details, and you'll be in like Flynn!
1: You've got her colors all nice, and smooth
2: And her lines, are also all nice, and smooth
And Now for the negative.
1: Twilight's cutiemark, looks a little off to me, it seems to be missing a few stars.
2: And Twilight's eyes, while good, also seems to be a little off.
Overall, this is a BEAUTIFUL vector, you've did a great job
You should be proud of your vector, and I'll surely add it to my Twilight Sparkle favorites
Actually, if it's okay with you, can I use this vector?
I'll even credit you
