Here are two nice sketches I drew for fun! I tried two different shading techniques, with cross-hatching and just smudging on them. I personally adore cross-hatching. I think I did a great job on them!

Pencils used: 4H, F, 4B

Soooooo cute! I agree with you and think that the cross-hatching looks better. Still they both look fabulous!
